Meet Harvey
Harvey was born and raised in Manchester, UK.
Harvey moved to Canada and started working at Obscura in August 2025, coming from the UK to further his career and reach out of his comfort zone to develop his skills as an artist and meet new people.
Beginning at age 6, Harvey drew cartoons and small comic strips to practise anatomy and drawing faces. In high school Harvey decided to focus on becoming a tattoo artist, a career path initially suggested to him by his art teacher. It's these early drawings that would eventually become the portfolio that landed him his tattoo apprenticeship in March of 2022.
Mainly known for his black and grey realism, Harvey is also experienced in a range of styles including traditional, colour, blackwork and more. Harvey is open to any style and welcomes working with clients on making their design dreams a reality. With 3 years of tattoo experience under his belt back home in the UK, Harvey is incredibly excited to continue his tattoo artist journey here in Ottawa.
